Budget conferences
Every year the Institut des politiques publiques analyses the main issues raised by the Budget bill and presents the results at a public conference, where members of the Finance Commission of the Assemblée nationale and other economic policymakers discuss them. Until 2024 the conference was held with CEPREMAP in the autumn, while parliament debated the following year’s Budget law. Since 2025 it has been held in June, ahead of the drafting of the bill, and the studies presented are collected in the annual volume Perspectives budgétaires (La documentation française).
